back from DC

We got home early this morning at 2 AM after 17 hours of hanging out in terminals or sitting on planes.

Travel both ways was miserable and awful, honestly. But we got where we needed to be, so we're thankful for that.

We were blessed with the privilege of staying with Spencer's Aunt and Uncle who live outside of DC. It was wonderful spending time with them and we're so thankful for their gracious, loving support and hospitality.

So about our appointments with Dr. J.

They went very well. Thank You, Lord!

Big changes will be taking place. Soon. Feeling a wee bit a lot overwhelmed, but also comforted and at peace, knowing that God is in control of every little detail.

I'm too worn out to post any further, so details about our appointments will have to wait. Stay tuned...

So glad you made it there and back home safely. Sounds like all went well with your appointment. YAY! Will watch your blog for an update with more details.

In the meantime, rest well. {{Hugs}} Kara

wow. i don't know you but stumbled apon you blog from a friends blog (laura hawkins, if you know her). and i just want you to know i am praying for you both tonight. i was sick for three weeks last semester, got on narcotics while my ear bled from a nasty ear infection. but that was NOTHING. i can't believe what you are going through. i really pray that God would heal you, and I am amazed at your praise of God through this. you have encouraged me deeply to live my life more fully for God, a reminder of the few breathes that we have. i really pray that you would be strengthened by God's spirit and would be blessed, and even healed. but he will heal you in his perfect timing. may he give you peace and joy no matter what.
