God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
- Psalm 46:1-2
I am having a rough time with the Cipro. I'm confident that it's killing something, hopefully the Bartonella, but it's making me incredibly miserable in the process. Epsom salt baths have helped a little. I'm spending my days too weak to do anything other than lie in bed or on the couch wishing the room would stop spinning, needing more naps than usual, and trying to eat as much as my gag reflex will allow. The days feel blurred together and pass very quickly, yet each moment feels unbearably drawn out.
I'm feeling discouraged, frustrated, and weary. Trying to remain thankful and praise God amidst this struggle. Am I ever glad to know He is fully in control amidst this illness.
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God,the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary;his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;they shall mount up with wings like eagles;they shall run and not be weary;they shall walk and not faint. - Isaiah 40:28-31

That's my favorite passage! I quote it on my Truth About Lyme log in!
Great passages to keep in mind! Thanks for sharing and being real with us. It stinks to fight those anxiety issues, but it's real and I think we can't hide it because that takes away from us trying to help spread the word and share our experience. Anyway, keep the real stuff coming... we care about you and what to hear what's going on.
Hugs & prayers!!
And yet you got some things done today, my dear! I'm glad to be with you - whether anxious or not.
Great verses, too.
Thanks, Honey, for sharing it all. I so appreciate knowing what's going on with you. Love you! Dad
